What Is The Sanctuary in North Canton?
The community, where it is, and what's included for residents.
The Sanctuary is a community in North Canton where we build. It's located east of Cleveland Avenue and just south of Applegrove Street, in Stark County.
What's there
- A clubhouse
- A community pool
- A playground
- Several ponds
- A walking path connected to the Stark Parks trail system
Stark Parks, formally the Stark County Park District, maintains a large network of hiking, biking and equestrian trails across the county, so a connection to that system means the walking path doesn't dead-end at the property line.
Why people choose a community like this
Utilities are already in, roads and drainage are built, and site costs are more predictable than on a raw parcel. You also get amenities that would be impossible to build on an individual lot, and standards that govern what gets built next to you. See own land vs a community.
What to ask about any community
- What are the HOA dues, and what do they cover?
- Are there deed restrictions or architectural review requirements on exteriors?
- Which lots are still available, and what are their sizes and orientations?
- What's the build-out timeline for the rest of the development?
- Are there approved builders, or can you bring your own?
See HOA rules and deed restrictions.
Building here
We build in The Sanctuary and elsewhere across the Akron-Canton area, and we also partner with developers and landowners across the region for a range of lot sizes, layouts and communities. If you own land or have identified a lot in another development, we build there too. See where we build and building in North Canton.
For current lot availability, see our Where We Build page or call 330-417-3951.
